There was once a lonely fisherman...
There was once a lonely fisherman. Every day, he rose with the moon and fell when the sun came out. He was lonely because while he was awake, everyone else was asleep. One night, the loving princess awoke from a nightmare she had and decided to clear her head by taking a walk. She put on her pink dress and headed outside. As she wandered along, she heard a faint sigh. She looked around, wondering where it could have came from. She was going to assume it was her imagination when she heard it again. She looked up, and perched atop the moon was a tall lanky boy dressed in blue. He had blue, immensely curly hair that was being cradled by the wind.
"Hello. Excuse me? Can you tell me why you are sitting on the moon?"
The boy jumped in surprise and looked down. He had never spoken to anyone before. He did't know how to respond so he just stared at her. She was beautiful. Her skin was like that of a porcelain doll, her eyes like stars and her hair was long and pink, dragging behind her on the floor.
"Hello? She repeated.
"H-Hello." The boy on the moon said. " I don't really know why I sit on the moon. I always have and I never questioned it..."
There was a long silence before the girl finally spoke again.
"Well, doesn't it get lonely up there all by yourself?
" I suppose. But because I rise with the moon, nobody is ever awake so see me. He said.
" Well I'm here arn't I? You can talk to me now."
The fisherman and the princess stayed up all night. Even though the princess talked most of the time, the boy was enjoying himself. He never felt this happy before. He had an idea, to make her just as happy, he raised his hand and with a small poof, stars flew from his fingers and fell down to the princess. They swirled around her and she twirled in their warm embrace before collapsing in the glass. The night air was filled with her giggles. The lonely boy chucked. But time was running out. It was almost morning and he would have to leave soon. The loving princess promised that she would return tomorrow night because she had so much fun and left for her castle.
The lonely fisherman drifted to sleep with a smile on his face.
